Confidence, Practice and Support Needs of UK Aeromedical Examiners in Mental Health Risk Assessment

Overview

The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Medical Department is inviting Aeromedical Examiners (AMEs) to take part in an anonymous survey exploring confidence, experience and support needs related to mental health assessment during aeromedical examinations.

The purpose of this survey is to inform future guidance, training and support for AMEs. This is not an assessment of individual performance. Responses will be analysed in aggregate only.

Participation is voluntary. No identifiable information is collected. Completion of the survey implies consent to participate.
