Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) related to UK Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011 (the UK Aircrew Regulation)

Overview

The Civil Aviation Authority is proposing an update within the Learning Objectives (LO) of Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) related to UK Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011. 

These amendments are to direct Training Providers and Students to the latest International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) documents related to the subject of the LOs stated within AMC1 FCL.310; FCL.515(b); FCL.615(b); FCL.825(d) Theoretical knowledge examinations.

The intent of this is to reduce the possibility of negative learning.

This consultation

The purpose of the consultation is to gain feedback from industry and the wider public on the proposed amendments to:

Why your views matter

It is important to the CAA that the everyone has an opportunity to voice their opinion on matters that could affect them. For this reason, we are asking for comments on these proposed changes to the Regulations.

We welcome comments from every sector of the community. This includes the general public, government agencies and all sectors of the aviation industry, whether as an aviator, aviation consumer and/or provider of related products and services.
