Section 2 - Proposal

The CAA is considering changes to the UK Regulation (EU) No. 965/2012 Air Operations Regulations, to introduce the following requirement:  When intending to operate over or near conflict zones, a risk assessment shall be conducted and appropriate risk mitigation measures taken to ensure a safe flight.

10. The scope of Annex 6 Part I is only to CAT. The CAA is proposing for the requirement to extend to other types of operations, such as NCC, NCO and SPO.
