Overview

Extraordinary charging consultation on the proposal to extend the charging cap from FY2025/26 for economic regulation of Heathrow Airport related to capacity expansion. 

What happens next

Responses will be reviewed and presented to CAA leadership, the Department for Transport and HM Treasury for consideration before a final decision on the proposal is taken.

The CAA will publish any updates to its charging scheme and issue a consultation response document no later than 14 days prior to the new charging structure coming into force.
